The Learning Of Networking

This book documents my networking journey, combining hands-on experience from building and managing a home lab with structured study toward the CompTIA Network+ certification. It brings together practical notes, configurations, and troubleshooting steps gained while working with UniFi equipment, firewalls, VLANs, and virtualized environments.

The goal is to create a personal reference guide that links theory to practice — mapping Network+ exam objectives to real-world scenarios in my lab. From IP addressing and subnetting to routing, switching, and network security, each section is built around both certification knowledge and the lessons learned while experimenting with home lab setups.

This resource is designed to grow over time, serving as both a study aid and a living record of my networking experience.
